While emergency relief often addresses immediate survival needs, many individuals and families face a prolonged recovery period where replacing everyday household items becomes a major financial and emotional burden.

There is a critical gap between short-term emergency aid and long-term home recovery. KOJA exists to help fill that gap.

By combining retail with impact, KOJA transforms everyday purchases into meaningful recovery support. Our work focuses on restoring comfort, dignity, and stability for Australians rebuilding their lives after natural disasters.

we are here to support, when the Unpredictable happens

Bushfires are a defining, natural part of the Australian landscape, with a history spanning thousands of years of Indigenous cultural burning and, more recently, severe, destructive fire seasons. Major, often fatal, fire events—including Black Thursday (1851), Black Friday( 1939), Ash Wednesday (1983), and Black Saturday (2009)—have shaped modern firefighting and land management practices. 

WE understand the impact of bushfires and this is a driving factor of our work!

ESTABLISHMENT:

KOJA originally was established as a transport company in 2024, when we traded an old van for 2 slabs of beers. in aims to combine friends and work, we created a transport company that assisted weddings, home relocations and events. we were able to bring community together and have expanded as a result… but, the transport side was not for us. We wanted artistry, collaboration and change. So, we refocused our purpose.

the 2025-2026 bushfires hit Victoria brutally, places we had grown up in, started burning to flames, and many in our community were affected. our passion for safety changed our thinking and we incorporated. Now, we have built our community, and it’s time to give back to those who lost theirs.

We care about craftsmanship, stand-out design, and creating pieces that feel meaningful in your home. For us, it’s not about trends or mass production. It’s about intention, quality, and taking pride in what we put into the world.
